While fraud is unlikely, goConfirm has measures in place to handle reports and prevent offenders from returning to the platform.
Reporting fraud
If you believe you have been scammed by someone you connected with via goConfirm, follow these steps:
- Contact goConfirm support and provide details of the incident so that we can reach out to the other party and, if necessary, suspend their account.
- Gather any relevant evidence, including chat logs, payment proof, or any other details related to the transaction.
- File a police report with your local law enforcement agency.
- Follow up with goConfirm support and provide details of the incident including any case numbers.
Law enforcement support
In cases where fraud has been reported and a police report has been filed, goConfirm will assist law enforcement by providing highly actionable identity data tied to the offending individual.
Since every goConfirm user is verified with a government-issued ID and a 3D biometric face scan, fraudulent users cannot hide behind fake accounts or remain anonymous.
Permanent bans for offenders
If an investigation confirms fraudulent activity, the offender’s account will be permanently banned from goConfirm.
🚫 Because every goConfirm user is verified using real identity data, they will not be able to create another account—ever. 🚫
